Nigro Symbol
Nigro Retail Properties is built on the values of a family name—a name that has been synonymous with the accomplishment and understanding that only years of experience can provide.

The firm’s principal, John Nigro began his career with Albany Public Markets, which was founded by the Nigro family and proudly became upstate New York’s first large supermarket chain. During his tenure, Mr. Nigro became Vice President of Albany Public Market’s real estate division, solidifying his career in commercial real estate. In 1974, he joined his father in forming what is now Nigro Retail Properties, where he remains thoughtfully and fearlessly leading the company today.

Our company’s success is a result of our core values: integrity, honesty, agility and service. We pride ourselves on the tenants we attract, the partnerships we build and the communities we support. We lead by example. We concern ourselves with the details. And we resolve to always follow through on our word.
